Deadpool 3 brings back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

dead pool 3 Star Ryan Reynolds has confirmed Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine in the MCU.

The Merc with a Mouth actor shared a humorous video on social media to explain why Dead Pool was absent from Marvel Studios’ panel at D23 Expo a few weeks ago, despite previously announcing the development of the project.

In the clip, Ryan jokes that he has “nothing” planned for the film. Then Hugh Jackman goes through the background briefly and agrees to play Wolverine “one more time”. dead pool 3now confirmed release on September 6, 2024.

Ryan grins as Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You” begins to play, only now it’s changed to “I Will Always Love Hugh.”

To continue bringing home the history-making news, a Marvel Studios logo is placed above the clasp Dead Pool Graphic when slashed by Wolverine’s claws.

Ryan has long spoken of wanting to reunite with him X-Men origin co-star, though Jackman said he would quit the Wolverine role afterward logan.

Some fans suspected Hugh had a change of heart after some mysterious social media posts over the past year, although it’s not clear if these are related to his involvement in the cause dead pool 3.

Jackman has played Wolverine since 2000 X-Menincluding in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine Film that introduced Reynolds as Deadpool. There have been reports of Marvel recasting Wolverine for the MCU now that it has regained the rights to the character, but at least for now, that’s not the case.

Marvel previously contributed Bob’s burger Writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin for dead pool 3with Reynolds Free guy and The Adam Project Director Shawn Levy also wanted to join.

Deadpool and Deadpool 2 keep streaming Disney+and also available on digital download, DVD and Bluray. Deadpool 3 is out September 6, 2024.
