On October 21st, Warner Bros. is launching Gotham Knights, an open-world action RPG set in “the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet.”
You can either play alone or with another hero as you patrol Gotham’s five different boroughs and pursue criminal activities wherever you find them. Pre-orders are live ahead of launch:
The next Call of Duty to fire up on a PlayStation near you is Modern Warfare 2, a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare.
The game is said to feature a rebuilt, advanced AI system, improved rendering and photogrammetry technology, a new gunsmith system that allows for more customization, and much more including new weapons, vehicles, and equipment to take on your deadly enemies. Infinity Ward calls it “the most advanced Call of Duty in history,” which is quite a statement.
On November 8th, Sega’s famous Blue Blur races in a new direction in Sonic Frontiers.
Promising “high-speed open-zone platforming freedom,” Frontiers sees Sonic stranded on an ancient island with five islands to explore and powerful enemies to defeat. Early reaction to the game was tepid, to say the least, but recent hands-on impressions have been far more positive, suggesting it might well be worth checking out.
Welcome to the evolution of Sonic games.
God of War Ragnarok is now so close we can almost swing our hugely satisfying ax at it, and Young we are excited.
A sequel to 2018’s stunning God of War, Ragnarok continues the journey of Kratos and Atreus as they travel to each of the Nine Realms in hopes of finding answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that the world will end. Expect breathtaking landscapes, epic combat, and even more fantastic storytelling when it releases on November 9th. You can find more pre-order options here.
