Love Island’s Adam Collard speaks out amid ‘cheating’ rumours

Love Island’s Adam Collard has spoken out amid cheating rumors and confirmed his relationship status with Paige Thorne.

The couple, who have appeared in both seasons four and eight of Love Island, went official in August after leaving the famous villa.

In a recent video that surfaced on social media, the 26-year-old personal trainer was seen with his arm around another girl after ending up at McDonald’s after a night of drinking.

Adam’s rep told The Sun: “Adam went to McDonald’s after a night out with friends.

“His friends were by his side when a group of girls asked for photos and Adam, being his friendly self, was open to posing and chatting with the girls, along with other fans who wanted to chat in the same video .

“Adam understands what this video looks like, but would like to say that he left the restaurant with his friends and a box of 60 nuggets (with nothing or nobody else) to get home safely.

“Adam and Paige are dating right now and Adam only has eyes for her.”

Adam was a controversial figure during his first stint at the villa, with some of his scenes even raising concerns among the bosses of domestic violence charity Women’s Aid.

Adam clashed with then-partner Rosie Williams in an explosive confrontation during which he was widely criticized by viewers for grinning throughout the argument and later leaving her in hysterical tears.

Katie Ghose, Chief Executive of Women’s Aid, expressed concern about Adam’s actions that led to him joining Zara, saying: “There are clear red flags in Adam’s behavior in the latest series of Love Island.”

Adam arrived late at the villa and was initially paired with Kendall Rae-Knight before Rosie was his next partnership.

Adam’s rep told The Sun, “Adam and Paige are currently dating and Adam only has eyes for her.”

The business owner retained a reputation as a “gamer” after his stint on the show, but Paige recently revealed ITV producers were pushing her to give him a chance.

Speaking to Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on FUBAR radio, the former contestant admitted she “didn’t even know” who the bombshell was – despite being warned by the other girls in the villa that he was a “massive gambler”. .

She explained, “All the girls were like Paige, that’s Adam, I was like, ‘Why do you say his name like that? I don’t know who he is.”

“They gave me the facts and they flushed him out and gave me the right insights into how he used to be,” she continued.

“Then I thought, ‘Well, if he was like that, what is he doing in here? He’ll just be a little shit bug.

But the paramedic, who dated Jacques O’Neill before his exit, then revealed the producers had pulled her aside to try and convince her to give Adam a chance.

“I was pulled aside and she [producers] were like, “Paige, why are you writing him off before you’ve had a chance?” she added.

“I said, ‘Because of what the girls said. I don’t need to talk to him to know there will be no difference.”

“And they said, ‘No, open your mind and just talk to him and give him a chance.’ I just said, ‘What the hell, he’s just going to be a great player. I’m not here for a player, I’m here for something serious here.”

Speaking of their relationship, Paige added, “It was so good. This boy, I promise you, he’s simple and it’s great, I love it. We’ll see each other when we’re free.

“Obviously I live in Swansea and he lives in Newcastle and when we’re away we just keep in touch and text and whatever. But then when we get together we tend to have a reasonable quality time. So it works really well in our favor.”
