A security guard who began a relationship with a Ukrainian refugee after he and his long-term partner gave her a place to stay has left her after a raging bankruptcy, MailOnline is able to reveal today.
Tony Garnett, 30, claims he sacked Sofiia Karkadym, 22, after accusing her of a booze problem and using a knife to damage a wall in their rented home.
With her belongings now in black bin liners ready for collection, he also accused her of disrupting his relationship with his two daughters, saying he would always put them “first.”
Tony fell in love with Sofiia just days after she started living with him and his partner of 10, Lorna Garnett, 28, who is the mother of his two children.
He and his now ex-girlfriend made headlines in May after he left Lorna and moved out of the family home with his new lover to start a new life together.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline today, he revealed: “I’m 100 percent done with her. We’re done as a couple.’
Tony claimed things came to a head as they rowed while celebrating his 30th birthday at their home in Bradford, West Yorkshire on Saturday night. He said he finally called the police after Sofiia appeared to damage a wall, which led to officers attending the address.

Tony told MailOnline how during the four and a half months they were together he was “fed up” with what he described as their irrational behavior.
He said: “I can no longer take their abuse or their anger.
“I left Lorna and my two children for her and I made every extra effort to help her keep us together.
“I’ve worked so hard to make this relationship work. I knew we would look like Tw*ts if we broke up because we have a media profile and all the attention we get on TV and the internet.

“I really felt sorry for her too. She left her homeland and her country, which was at war and knew no one here.
“Yes, I felt and thought I was in love with her. But there’s a side to her that I just can’t take anymore. She becomes angry and aggressive.
He claimed: “On Saturday night she took a knife and stabbed the wall several times.
“It really scared me and I had no choice but to call the police. That doesn’t make me happy at all. But I worried about my safety. ‘
The dispute occurred when two other Ukrainian refugees – Sofiia Rastorhuieva and her boyfriend Illia Tronevych – were staying with the couple.
They had moved in with Tony and Sofia after he saw a desperate appeal from them on Facebook asking for housing.
The heavily tattooed Tony added: “I made a mistake when I started dating Sofiia.
“As I said before, my relationship with Lorna was already over and I was really unhappy.
“But that wasn’t right for me. I tried to help her. I really have.
“I didn’t let her down and even sent her mum a message to help her using Google Translate.
She may have PTSD. But she comes from Kyiv, where there hasn’t been much war.
“I hope she finds a safe place to live and is in a happier place. But she’s not for me.”
Tony, who has received a spate of online insults over his relationship with Sofiia, said he will soon be looking for a new home and will also separate from the other Ukrainian refugees.
He said Sofiia had sent him a series of messages since the broke, saying she loved him and asking for a reconciliation.
But he said he told her he didn’t want her back and said he’d already given her “chance after chance after chance”.
Tony said he accused her of “ruining” his 30th birthday.
He claimed he told her he would contact the local council and the Home Office to try to put her back.

The couple planned to visit Sofiia’s family in Ukraine so Tony can formally propose to her father for his daughter. Tony said their relationship is over
But Tony grew impatient with the length of the process and joined Facebook groups where Ukrainians were looking for sponsors.
He made contact with Sofiia through one of the groups and she arrived in the UK on May 4th and moved to Bradford with him and Lorna and their daughters aged three and six.
Tony explained how it “simply clicked” and we understood each other very well right away, also because he could speak Slovak, which is similar to Ukrainian.
The two began conversing in a language Lorna didn’t understand, stayed up to watch TV after she went to bed, and went to the gym together regularly.
They both said that while they “got along brilliantly” at the time, “it wasn’t more than that” and “innocent.”
But in the end, they “found excuses to touch and rub” and things got tense in the house.
Tony said he would return home to meals prepared by Sofiia, who would tell him how “lucky Lorna was to have him”.

But she was shocked when Tony told her, “If she goes, I’ll go”.
The new couple eventually moved in with Tony’s parents before finding an apartment of their own and beginning the process of applying for a permanent Sofia visa.
Tony said at the time: “I’m so sorry for what Lorna is going through, it wasn’t her fault and it wasn’t about anything she did wrong.”
Sofia added: “As soon as I saw him I liked him. It happened very quickly, but this is our love story. I know people will think badly of me, but it happens. I could see how unhappy Tony was.’
The couple later spoke of their hopes of getting married and having children of their own once Tony had his vasectomy reversed.
He told MailOnline: “I would like to propose to this beautiful lady.”
Sofia said: “We plan our life together. I want to be a mother. i want to have children
“I’m a young woman so it can wait a few years and I’m hoping Tony can get his vasectomy reversed so we can become a family together.”
As their ill-fated relationship made headlines, Tony revealed he had suffered a barrage of abuse on social media over his decision to leave his family home.
He even spoke of his hopes of launching a pop career after recording a rap about their experience.
Tony also insisted his relationship with Lorna was already on the rocks before he met Sofiia.
One of Lorna’s friends shared in May how the now single mum was “devastated”.
